This directory provides the package `SoPhy' on

    Some soil physical tools in R
    including water flow by SWMS_2D

which has been submitted to R, http://www.R-project.org,
and is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2.

This package needs the library "libtiff.so" that can be obtained 
   from http://www.remotesensing.org/pub/libtiff/   (linux)
   as libtiff and libtiff-devel rpm-packages        (SuSe linux)
   from gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/tiff.htm  (Windows - do not forget
                                                     to set the PARH variable 
                                                     appropriately)

Further, the orginal code and the documentation of SWMS_2D by 
J. Simunek, T. Vogel, and M. Th. van Genuchten can be downloaded 
from this site.
